We had an amazing weekend in the history of New Walk and the Church that Christ has given to this community.

Here are the Returns From 4 Services This Sunday:

- Nearly 60 people came forward to either rededicate their lives or make first-time commitments.

- 1047 people attended.

- 49 New Families Visited! 

- Almost 200 people SERVED on Saturday Night to Sunday Night.

- Toys For Tots Giving brought toys to nearly 40 children around our community.

- We fed 10 families in our community who needed food... a FULL Christmas dinner.

What a weekend for NWC in our history. Thanks for being a part of it!.... you should be able to view the service here on our Online Campus beginning tonight (Christmas Eve).

 

Christmas Service 2008 | The Gift Revolution

I have noticed... the stores are a little slow right now.  I am sure as we get closer to Christmas it will pick up but the evidence of tough finances is really all over the place.  God's GOODNESS is all over the place too. How many people will see the tough things but MISS God's Goodness. The enemy uses money to take our eyes off of God. Do you find yourself missing it? The Gift Revolution | Message Series

We start a new series on Sunday and I am looking forward to seeing how it sweeps through our community. It has already started but as we mobilize our people this week we will see what the movement does. Here is what someone already reported from New Walk about their git experience:

As part of New Walk Church in Zephyrhills, FL, I loved the idea of the Gift Revolution so... after leaving service on a Sunday, I drove past a older gentleman selling newspapers in the median of a busy intersection. I quickly made a u-turn and as I stopped to buy myself a newspaper, I gave him an extra $10. I told him that I'd like to buy a newspaper for the next 5 people who stopped to get a newspaper from him (along with a Gift Revolution card)and for him to keep $5 for himself. He looked confused and asked me to repeat. When I did, he immediately smiled - what a great feeling it was. As I waited for the light to turn green, I saw from my mirror that he was giving a newspaper to someone and pointing towards my car. Again... what a great feeling to give someone a little gift/surprise.
