We start a new series on Sunday and I am looking forward to seeing how it sweeps through our community. It has already started but as we mobilize our people this week we will see what the movement does. Here is what someone already reported from New Walk about their git experience:

As part of New Walk Church in Zephyrhills, FL, I loved the idea of the Gift Revolution so... after leaving service on a Sunday, I drove past a older gentleman selling newspapers in the median of a busy intersection. I quickly made a u-turn and as I stopped to buy myself a newspaper, I gave him an extra $10. I told him that I'd like to buy a newspaper for the next 5 people who stopped to get a newspaper from him (along with a Gift Revolution card)and for him to keep $5 for himself. He looked confused and asked me to repeat. When I did, he immediately smiled - what a great feeling it was. As I waited for the light to turn green, I saw from my mirror that he was giving a newspaper to someone and pointing towards my car. Again... what a great feeling to give someone a little gift/surprise.
